We’re pleased that you are interested in membership with the Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club (CCRP). This is a private club which offers a variety of shooting sports on both indoor and outdoor ranges. It is dedicated, through its bylaws, to the encouragement of organized rifle, archery and pistol shooting in the community with views toward firearms use with care and safety combining the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
New members are required to attend a New Member Orientation (NMO) which is by reservation only, first come – first served. You can make your reservation by going to the Contacts bullet, click on Board, and send an email to the Membership Director, Mike Nesbitt (miken54@aol.com). There is a rather high demand for membership. No-shows will go to the end of the line for future NMOs.
Please, review the membership requirements on this page. Fees are to be paid in cash or check. We suggest holding off on filling out your check until you turn in your application. Cash is correct change only. We do not carry or make change. If you do not have correct change, you will be expected to round up to the nearest larger bill in your possession and the difference will be donated to the CCJRs. Credit cards are not accepted.
Membership Requirements
- Open to anyone of good character, who is not prohibited from owning firearms
- Share in the aims and goals of the club
- Must attend an orientation class (see below)
Orientation Classes
Please check on the calendar for the scheduled New Member Orientations. Those New Member Orientations are held just ten times per year, that’s once per month except for June and December. The Orientations are generally held on the 2nd Wednesday the month, at 7:00 in the evening in the clubhouse. These meetings usually last just over an hour. Please see the club calendars for dates and email the club membership director to confirm and get your name on the list.

Your renewal month is the month you joined if your NMO was between the 1st and 15th of that month and is the following month if the NMO was between the 16th and 31st of the month you joined. The dues renewal date is the first day of the month in which members’ “annual date” falls. At the end of the Member’s renewal month, the Member’s gate card will be locked out and their membership will be considered “inactive” during which time they may still pay their dues and retain their membership. After 30-days on “inactive” status the membership will be terminated. Location and Access
CCRP is located on 140 acres of rolling, timber covered terrain along the Black River, 1½ miles south of Littlerock, Washington and about 12 miles southwest of Olympia. An automated gate accessed by a member’s electronic key card controls the entrance. The gate is open when any scheduled public event is underway or when new member orientation classes are scheduled.
