Membership

We’re happy that you are interested the Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club (CCRP). We are a private club offering a variety of shooting sports on indoor and outdoor ranges. It is dedicated through its bylaws to the encouragement of organized rifle, archery and pistol shooting in the community with a view toward the care and safety of firearms and the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.

The September 9 NMO that was previously scheduled and is on the calendar is going to happen. As with the August NMOs, the class is by reservation only, first come – first served. You can make your reservation by going to the Contacts bullet, click on Board, and send an email to the Membership Director, Skip Gardner. There is a high demand for membership. No shows will go to the end of the line for future NMOs.

Please, review the membership requirements on the Membership page. Fees are in cash or check. We suggest holding off on filling your check out until you turn in your application. Cash is correct change only. We do not carry or make change. If you do not have correct change you will be expected to round up to the nearest larger bill in your possession and the difference will be donated to the CCJRs. Credit cards are not accepted.

An NRA membership is required for membership in CCRP. You must have your NRA membership prior to attending the NMO. If you don’t have an NRA membership or will need to be renewing an existing NRA membership the same month as you join CCRP, we urgently suggest that you do it online. Mailing a check to the NRA will leave you waiting months for membership confirmation and without a CCRP membership. When you go online with the NRA you will receive an email receipt which will serve as your proof of NRA membership.
