January 2009 Free Trappers

FROSTY NEW YEAR FOR FREE TRAPPERS

Third day of the New Year and it's already too much "White Christmas" delayed. A dozen buckskinners slipped, slid and 4-wheeled their way to the Black Powder Range for the Monthly match. After Tony, Allen & Will cleared the down timber and special visibility was added to the gong targets the event proceeded. The Free Trappers meeting preceding the shoot led by Booshway BO Brown. Medallions have arrived and were available on sale. The new dosing is unique and collectible. BO's started on the 2010 Flyer which must mean that he's interested in doing this job for another year! Arrangements and reminders for the work days on January 31 for the range and Feb. 7th for the clubhouse kitchen stressed the amount of work to do. It looks like there will be a lot of range clearance and need to move the firewood from the parking area so all help will be appreciated. Will Ulry reviewed the range expansion plans for the range which seemed agreeable for all.
